My hometown

My hometown is Bilbao. It's the largest city in the Basque Country.
In the middle of the city we have the Nervion river which divides both sides of the city.
It's said that everyone who's born in Bilbao feels proud of it and i can say its true.
I think its a great city but i want to leave as soon as posible.

The most famous dish in Bilbao is "Bacalao Pil Pil" which i hate. But you can also eat what you want because of the large number of foreign restaurants.

Athletic Club Bilbao is Bilbao's football team. Almost everyone in Bilbao supports it. It's been more than a hundred years in 1st Division and playing only with Basque people, and we feel proud of it.

Bilbao is also famous for being the iron provider of almost every country in the world. Jr Tolkien,"lord of the rings"'s writer, named "Bilbo" one of his characters because Bilbao was Britain's official iron provider. Every single sword in Britain was made with that iron.

So if you want to visit Basque Country , forget about Donosti or Vitoria. Come Bilbao, you'll enjoy it!
