:) My home town

My home town is Bilbao,I have always lived here. It is in the north of spain. Bilbao has changed a lot in the last years,but is going to change a lot as the years goes on.The city has 353,168 inhabitants and is the industrially active part of Greater Bilbao, the zone in which almost half of the Basque Country’s population lives.

Bilbao is also famous because there is the "Guggenheim" museum. Is the most important structure of its time, Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum Bilbao recently celebrated a decade of extraordinary success on October 19, 2007. Million visitors go there to see the exhibitions every year. But it isnt the only think you can visit,there are more museum, or you can also visit the old part of the town,go shopping,go to the theater...

One of the most tipical food is the "Bacalao al pil-pil", if you like the fish you would love it. And "Carolina" and "Pastel vasco" are the tipical dessert, wich are fantastic. But know you can find restaurants from everywere, about the emigration.

Finally, I am going to talk about the football club of Bibao is the Athletik, maybe it isn´t the best team but it has the best fans. The football picht is called San Mames, are there are kown like the "lions". This is one of the oldest team in Spain. Their game is similar to the English one.
